I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (#16667) and co‑founder of NC Psychotherapy Services, PLLC, based in Knightdale, NC. I am the co-founder of NC Psychotherapy Services, PLLC, a private practice based in Knightdale, NC, which I operate with fellow clinician Matthew Jennings.
I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Auburn University and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Towson University. Since 2017, I have provided therapy in a variety of settings, including community mental health, private practice, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers, gaining extensive experience with neurodevelopmental disorders, behavioral interventions, and family systems.
I work with individuals, couples, and families, with a focus on adults, adolescents, and children navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and early childhood behavioral concerns. My integrative approach draws from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy, along with advanced training in Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and the Gottman Method for couples.
I believe people are inherently resilient and capable of meaningful change. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and Certified Anger Management Specialist – II (CAMS-II). I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN in 2010. I have 15 years of counseling experience with individuals, families, and couples. I am the co-founder of NC Psychotherapy Services, PLLC, a private practice based in Knightdale, NC, which I operate with fellow clinician Jessica Gayleard.
I have worked with multiple therapeutic approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT). I work with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. My specialties are working with ADHD, Behavioral issues, Anger issues, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma related issues, OCD, and with Couples/Marital issues.

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (#A22428) with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from East Carolina University (2019), and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University (2024).
My clinical experience spans community mental health, inpatient, and outpatient settings, where I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and couples across a wide range of concerns.
I have experience supporting clients in navigating trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, women’s issues, self-esteem, emotional regulation, relationship challenges, and career concerns. I am also certified through Postpartum Support International (PSI) and have specialized experience working with new and expecting mothers.
My approach to therapy is integrative and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I utilize evidence-based modalities including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, and the Gottman Method for couples. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment, while also offering direct, goal-oriented feedback when appropriate.
I view therapy as a collaborative process focused on building insight, developing practical skills, and fostering long-term independence. My goal is to help clients gain the confidence and tools needed to navigate life’s challenges both within and beyond the therapy space.
